A safe place to fail - developing scenario based training for the middle step from learning to performing.

It is stunning how many companies and organizations still use the training process of "fire house - do the job." This leads to high attrition, low retention, and literally leads to people being fired who may have been excellent employees if they had had a little more time. It also frustrates customers and gives them a bad impression of the business. This session speaks to creating the middle step of allowing people to develop the skills and knowledge they received in training, in a safe place where they can fail regularly until they get it right, BEFORE they actually face a customer. Training should be about building and developing, not swimming or sinking.
