Backdraft Comparison | Fuel-Injected vs Carbonated

start with the 427. So when the 427 carburetor motor, if you're starting it, when it's cold, you're gonna pump the accelerator about four to five times to prime. The carburetor I have had this one running here just a little bit, so I won't have to do that, but let's just go ahead and give it a start.

This car's gonna have a little bit heavier idle the car shakes a little bit. It's fun. This is what people love about a 427. And of course it sounds wonderful as well.

So here we've got the 7.3 liter it's fuel injected, starting procedure with this or the five liter coyote and sound wise. They're both very similar to each other. Just turned ignition key on press the start.

Take notice that the car idols smoother when idols down like it just did. It's gonna be a little bit quieter than the 427 , but sound wise. Very nice sound. I can hear the intake sucking a lot of air in.

You got a real deep, beautiful throaty sound. Now this is the 7.3 litter. It is gonna be a little bit deeper than a regular coyote, 5.0.

As you can see, both cars have got their own unique sound too. There's really no bad choice. Whether you pick a classic 427, little more old school, more traditional that throaty exhaust note, along with the cam lope in the car, or you do a little more contemporary out of the backdraft sport with the fuel injection, a little smoother idle there either.

Either one is a really good choice.
