Annual summer gardening makes me excited ! There’s a lot of work but it’s so rewarding at the end . Our family is always looking forward every summer so we can start our small garden.

Just a little bit of background, we don’t own this place, it’s my mother in laws acreage . We are just so blessed that she let us do our gardening and grow vegetables at her acreage, it’s also a way for us to spend time with her and our children at her place which they loved so much because they have a lot of space to run around and explore. Flowers, birds are chirping, bees are buzzing,frogs and so on..

We are doing gardening for 6 years now, as a Filipina married to a Canadian I’m learning a lot of different veggies that we can grow in the garden as we grow veggies differently back home and also different types of vegetables.I’ve learned a lot along the way from my husband(he loves gardening just like her mom)and he is also learning my Filipino veggies. In the Philippines we grow different type of squash,or beans, and so on. Same names but different 😀 so here we are !
