I bought a 64 year old ex-military/auxiliary fire service fire engine that has been used during Op Fresco (Firefighter strikes in the UK). Most 21 year olds are spending lockdown on game consoles....

Subscribe if you want to stay up to date with this restoration project. This is a Bedfords RLHZ Fire engine or 'green goddess'. They were designed for the auxiliary fire service to be used in columns of 114 in the event the regular fire service was overwhelmed. They were also used in the firefighter strikers and Op Fresco. Although when these 64 year old fire engines were responding, you had to hope that the fire spread slowly.

My Bedfords RLHZ or Green Goddess is named Maddy. This fire engine sat outside in a yard for four years before coming to me to be restored. Follow my journey by subscribing. I learn something new in every video and make countless mistakes so it's entertainment for the whole family. P.S I have two of these fire engines...
