The Delhi–Dehradun Expressway, also known as National Highway 72A (NH 72A), is an under-construction, 210 km long, 12&6 lane access-controlled expressway, which will connect Delhi with Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.

Total 14.75km long Brownfield upgradation under Package 1 from Akshardham NH-9 Junction to Delhi-UP border in Delhi. It consists of a 6.4 km elevated road between Geeta Colony and Khajoori Khas.
The Package 1 from Akshardham NH-9 Junction to Delhi-UP border constructed by Gawar Constructions.
The work on the six-lane (3 each side) highway is over 50% complete in phase 1.
Right now, the estimated cost of developing this project is INR 13,000 Cr.
This project is being constructed in total 4 phases,
- Phase A – Delhi to Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE)
- Phase B – EPE to Saharanpur
- Phase C – Saharanpur to Rajaji National Park
- Phase D – Rajaji National Park to Dehradun
