I only happened to come across this location during one of my earlier adventures. While travelling on the fire service road many weeks ago, I noticed a sign on a side trail that had TRAPPER MOUNTAIN written on it.

After some satellite reconnaissance, I noticed a trail leading all the way to the top of the mountain and after searching for some video footage, realized I might be able to camp up there. Sure enough the small island I had seen on video was accessible to me and I setup camp.
