Very quick trail preview of the recently refreshed and reopened Crackers at Warrimoo for this week.

I've heard from many people that Warrimoo was home to a few of Sydney's legendary freeride trails. I unfortunately got into mountain biking after most of them were closed. This was my first ride down. Apparently the trail is similar to what was there in the past and the old "sandbag jump" is still in the same place.

It's worth checking out. The top 2/3rds is berms, rock rolls (or doubles) and jumps. The bottom 3rd is a more technical section with a few rock chutes and drops. There are plenty of gaps to be had in this section to smooth out of the trail.. none of which I felt I had the capability to pull for!

Dirt Art did the rebuild and in their usual style everything is really well put together despite how dry Sydney is. You can hit all the jumps at trail speed which is great.

More like this in the Sydney region please!
