This video is from our visit to Western Temples which are situated in Khajuraho. We did this trip at the time of our first anniversary. Khajuraho is the second most visited city by foreigners in India after Agra. These Temples were around 2kms away from the hotel where we stayed Clarks Khajuraho (   • Clarks Khajuraho  ), After reaching the Temple premises we first went to the most famous Raja cafe for lunch (   • We visited Raja Cafe in Khajuraho  ), After that we booked a guide for Rs-900, you have to Bargain, as the price he could ask is around Rs1500. Our Guide name Mr. Rajesh Tiwari (Very knowledgeable and must recommended guide to choose in Khajuraho).
The entry ticket is Rs40, Further the guide explained us about the temples very well, I would recommend to go with guide always.
The sound and light show starts at 6:30pm for English and 7:30pm for Hindi, We chose Hindi show as it was in the voice of Shri Amitabh Bachchan, The ticket costed us Rs 250, Please carry cash only for this. We would not recommend the light and sound show as it was not exciting at all.
