I went to photograph the Aomori Nebuta festival held at the 77th Mitama Festival dedication event (July 15, 2024).

The Mitama Festival is held at Yasukuni Shrine every July.
It is said to be a summer tradition in Tokyo, which began in 1944 and attracts approximately 300,000 visitors during the Obon festival, which is associated with the Obon custom of worshiping and holding memorial services for the spirits of ancestors.

The Aomori Nebuta festival floats, jumpers, and music were very impressive.
