Discover the solemnity and unity of Ashura Day in Quetta as I accompany the Hazara Shia community from Hazara Town to Meezan Chowk, joining their juloos (marching) on bikes and vehicles. This moving event pays tribute to Imam Hussain through azadari, a poignant act of mourning, while also embracing charity by offering food donations to those in need. Throughout the day, I had the privilege of interviewing authorities and security personnel, gaining insights into the meticulous planning for a safe and peaceful gathering.

As the sun sets, we make our way back to Hazara Town from Meezan Chowk, cherishing the profound impact of this memorable event. This being my second Muharram and Ashura in Quetta, the experience has left an indelible mark on my heart.
