First engine is a 6.5l out of a HMMWV that was hydro-locked which caused a few connecting rods to get bent leading to low compression. Replacement engine is a 6.2l from Eastern Surplus also out of a HMMWV but ended up having issues of its own and also had to be torn apart. I made it work by mixing and matching parts from both engines and truck is still running great.
