# Bjelasnica Lukomir village # Highest altitude vilage#
The village of Lukomir belongs to the municipality of Konjic, and is located at 1472 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest altitude vilage in BiH. It has become a real attraction for tourists who even cross 16 km of macadam to come to this unique village, with beautiful suroundings. Until winter and then due to high snow and cold everything dies. It was founded by shepherds in the Middle Ages.
