We love bringing our expertise to relationships that help communities to thrive, and growing our own knowledge at the same time.
One such relationship is between ourselves and Tāwhaki, a partnership between the New Zealand Government and the indigenous people of Kaitorete – Wairewa Rūnanga and Te Taumutu Rūnanga. It has established the Tāwhaki National Aerospace Centre at Kaitorete: a multi-use facility in a prime location 50 minutes from Ōtautahi (Christchurch) from which to launch and discover new horizons for the aerospace industry. Its mission is to help advance the aerospace sector in Aotearoa and heal and rejuvenate the unique whenua at Kaitorete to create enduring opportunities for its its communities, region and country.
