Ethiopia has started exporting wheat after the country increased output to cushion itself from supply chain constraints and curb reliance on imports. Authorities ramped up production to boost food security and now they are earning hard currency from exporting the wheat to neighbouring countries such as Kenya, Djibouti, Sudan, and Somalia.
