Comb Festival was held at Yasui Konpiragu Shrine in Kyoto on September 23, 2024.

A festival to thank and honor the combs that beautifully adorn women's hair.
After a dance dedication by a maiko and a fashion show-like explanation of the history of Japanese hair, a procession proceeded through the Gion area, which is a picturesque area in Kyoto.

The highlight of the festival is the hairstyles, which are all done with natural hair.
