How Do I Earn More Money Streaming?

The easiest way to earn more money from streaming is by using "Goal setting", you’ve all seen it, the idea of telling your viewers or putting it on your overlay, that you have a goal for subs, bits, donations, or even followers.

Goal setting comes in two forms, the first being passive goals, which is the idea of simply saying, “Hey I want to get 5 subs this stream”, with a little 0/5 counter on screen, which tend to be much less effective than the second form of goals, which are Active Goals which tend to go along the lines of, “if we reach X Subs or Bits then we will do Y task or event that the viewers want”

The reason Active is more effective because often you understand what your audience wants so you set the outcome or reward for reaching the goal as something people want to see happen, meaning it has more value than passive because Passive is just a way for people to support you if they really want to.

Should I Stream To Make Money?

In Short, No. You should not stream for revenue. I appreciate and am very grateful that people choose to support my stream but one of the reasons I was able to implement everything in this video so successfully is because I don’t normally use any of it, overusing the concepts in this video will remove the excitement and the fun from them so try not to push too hard.

I actually want this Youtube channel to be my main source of income compared to my stream because at the end of the day if someone supports my stream it is money right out of their pocket, but if you guys watch these videos you don’t lose anything except your time

To me, this is a better trade, and generally, I just don’t want to feel heavily responsible to make my stream constantly earning income and instead I just want to enjoy the community.

How Much Money Do Streamers Earn From Ads?

People REALLY don’t understand that until you are a LARGE Streamer, I’m talking thousands of viewers or tens of thousands… you aren't making ANY money from ads. The only reason Streamers run ads is because it turns ads off for everyone for 35 minutes at a time …. Meaning fewer ads overall for viewers and better growth.

The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Gaming Careers in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like Wild4games and Nutty.
