Sometimes your past self considers your future self and puts something aside to be discovered later on. I found this small song recorded as a raw track buried in my queue. Only after some thought I concluded it was played on my small Michael Gulino F sharp five hole flute, made of light blonde wood with an abstract Coyote block. It’s featured on my channel banner, at the top. When or why I played this tune is beyond me. Listen for the key change about halfway through—it never ceases to surprise me.
This video is a second revision from a previous version entitled Simple Gift. The music is the same, but the pictures and the title have changed some. This time I tried picture-in-picture to feature this beautiful flute and learned how to apply fades and other effects to the overlay. I think it’s much improved.
