Increasingly, brands are beginning to discover that making “activist” ads on popular political topics both brings in customers and hides their capitalist side. This gave birth to a new style of advertising: "Awakening Advertising", which is called "Woke Advertisement" in English.

The word “awakening”, which has now become a buzzword, is used to describe someone who is aware of social and political issues. When applied to advertising and marketing content, it describes the strategies brands use to highlight issues such as discrimination or injustice. While these advertisements enlarge the brand, they can sometimes backfire. Moreover, when it comes to brands whose names are involved in human rights violations, it also brings up fierce debates.
