On 6 January, a bombing occurred at a market on a bridge in Gamboru, Borno.

Christmas Eve attack in Pemi

On 24 December, Boko Haram killed at least 11 people, burnt a church and kidnapped a priest in the predominantly Christian village of Pemi in Borno.

Wulgo Forest Kidnapping
On 24 December, 40 loggers were seized by Boko Haram jihadists, while 3 others were killed in the Wulgo forest near the town of Gamboru in Borno. Bodies of three loggers were found in the forest by a militia leader, and the rest were presumed kidnapped.

MISSION:
AFO OMEGA WILL CONDUCT AN AIRFIELD SEIZURE TO LOCATE & SECURE HOSTAGES IVO THE SOUTHEAST SECTION OF AO BLACKHOLLOW IN ORDER TO DESTROY BOKO HARAM'S LAST LOGISTICAL CAPIBILITY WITHIN THE AO.

10TH DAY REBELS, LED BY CODE NAME "PEACHES" (CALLSIGN ICARUS) WILL HAVE FORCES AVAILABLE TO ASSIST IN A FEINT ATTACK.

EXECUTION:
AFO OMEGA will conduct a foot patrol to the Western Side of the Airfield To Set a Satchel as means of a distraction. The Team will than thus maneuver South then West then North, maneuvering around the South End of the Auxiliary Runway. The Timing of the distraction demo will be set to the Feint Assault by the 10 Day Rebel Forces from the North End of the Airstrip. Allowing the Team to move to Infil the Base and begin Clearance On the West Side of the Airstrip from South to North, then the East Side from North To South.

4.) Rescue All Hostages
5.) Capture Any Key Leadership or Intel
6.) Destroy Any Targets Of Opportunity
