I was inspired by the @BehindTheFoodTV channel as he followed along with Blacks BBQ on their brisket method and he recreated it at home.
I wanted to try it out, but I’ve always been fascinated with Saltlick BBQ and how they do things so I figured I’d try to recreate their brisket and mop sauce.
Follow along as I turn this select grade brisket into something I was very proud of.
This was a 2 stage cook - first 3/4 I cooked on the brisket on my @GMGrills pellet grill and the second stage I finished the brisket off on my drum smoker mopping the brisket with a Saltlick style bbq mop sauce!!!!
