This video is about King Khan And The Shrines - No Regrets - Fun Fun Fun Fest 2013

WARNING the stage lights on this video are annoying. Seriously. Annoying. They drive me nuts when I watch these videos. Fair warning has been given. I have been seriously dragging my feet on this upload - the lighting is that bad. Plus the Blue Mikey is so directional that the stage volume pretty much overwhelms the mix. o.well.not.much.I.can.do...anyway here goes my spiel:

King Khan - one of my favorites regardless of the current lineup/band and I was definitely pleased to see the band as one of the headliners for FFF 2013. They did not disappoint. I love the mix of garage/punk and '60 soul that they bring to their tunes. So good. My videos do not do any justice in anyway to how great their set was. Can't wait to catch them again.

Oh and as is often the case, I'm pressed for time and I'm not going to take the time to get the song ID's down (for the most part - I usually don't care so much about track names but there are a few I remember of the top of my head. Help is welcome for the rest -- corrections too).

NOTE: EQ and Master Volume have been set so that the audio doesn't clip. Turn it up, play it loud and enjoy!

Recorded on an iPhone 5 with a Blue Mikey using the Lightning to 30-pin adapter (I'm pretty happy with the Blue Mikey - it is on par with the Tascam iM2 - they both have their own plusses to it is hard to pick a favorite. The Blue Mikey is closer to plug and play though)

My standard disclaimer: This is a fan video to help spread the word about bands I like. My recording techniques are quite crude because I want to capture the show without interfering with my view of the show and, just as importantly, the view of those around me. So it is likely that some of the camera angles are far less than ideal -- that is because I keep the camera low (out of my fellow fan's sight line) and I rarely watch the display while recording. Add to that the fact that I keep the brightness level very low on the display so that it does not bother my fellow fans enjoyment of the show and it is likely that the video is far from perfect.
