Over time, odors can develop on the evaporator core since it is located in a dark, damp area of the vehicle. The evaporator core can be cleaned by filling a "misting" machine with cleaner. The machine then creates a very fine mist that is distributed throughout the HVAC ducting, removing bacteria and odor as it passes through.
