It's always been a dream of ours to go on a wildlife safari in Botswana and this year we finally made it happen! During our two months exploring Africa we visited Pangolin Photo Safaris in the Chobe National Park, known to be the best safari for photographers on the continent, with the sole focus being to improve our wildlife photography.

For 5 nights we hung out at Pangolin and teamed up with some of their world class, award-winning photo hosts who acted as our mentors to teach us how to get creative and really take our photos of animals to the next level. We went out on two safaris a day, either a game drive or a river cruise on Pangolin's custom photography boats, and spend hours observing and photographing wildlife. The end result was we learnt more about wildlife photography in that short time than our entire career as professional photographers.

In this video we showcase exactly what it's like to go on a photo safari in Botswana, and also give a bit of an inside look at a personal Pangolin Photo Safaris review based on our time there. We share our own images captured on safari, as well as wildlife photography tips from the Pangolin photo hosts.

Thank you to Guts, Toby, Janine, Jaco, Dan, Sara, Pusetso and the entire Pangolin staff for making us feel at home and helping us improve our African safari photography. If you're wondering whether it's worth doing a wildlife photography safari with Pangolin in Chobe National Park, Botswana, we're sure this video will help you make the right decision.
