Advanced Financial Management Strategy for CA Final - Sure Success!!!

• Lectures: When it comes to lectures, it's best to avoid lengthy ones. Instead, focus on two key aspects: Making detailed Concept Notes and Filtering Questions.

• Resources: Start your preparation with concept notes and ICAI Module Questions. Consider using Question Bank only after completing 100% of the syllabus. This approach ensures that you cover all key concepts and reduce the number of questions left to be marked.

• Self Study: Initiate your self-study phase only after completing all subjects' lectures. When studying a chapter, begin by reading its concept notes thoroughly. If you encounter a particularly challenging topic, consider watching a revision video specific to that topic. This targeted approach not only saves time but also enhances your understanding of concepts.

• Time Allotment, Mock Test & Revision:

- In the initial phase, allocate 15 days for your first reading. Focus on understanding the concept notes, revisiting revision videos for difficult topics, and filtering out questions.

- After 15 days, take a mock test. Many students make the mistake of not adhering to their study schedules, leading to unnecessary extensions. Mock tests act as a reality check, motivating you to study more effectively to achieve better scores.

- Follow the ABC strategy: prioritize A category, then B, then C. Even if you finish A&B chapters within 15 days, proceed with your mock test, and keep C category chapters for your second revision. Avoid extending the 15-day study period.

- For subsequent revisions, reduce your study time by half each time. Focus on revising previously ticked questions and challenging topics. This systematic approach ensures that you have fewer questions left to review in the final days leading up to your exam.

• Special points: Never use full calculator value. In Forex, carefully look cross rates, amount given to be converted and establish link accordingly. Give working notes for every calculation. Write formulas. Follow ‪@AtulAgarwal‬ (Ajay Agarwal) rounding-off summary for accuracy and consistency.

• Exam Days Strategy (1.5 days):
- FR Exam Day: Revise all concepts notes
- Leave Day till eve: Revise all marked questions.
- Leave Day EOD: 5 Theory chapters from module
- AFM Exam Day: LDR, Rounding Off, Theory chapters, Concept notes

• MCQs: Your concept notes should cover most of the MCQs. Avoid studying additional material specifically for MCQs. Instead, wait for faculty to release important points for MCQs and refer to them when necessary.

• Exam time planning: Refer to my previous video for a detailed strategy on planning your 15 mins & 3 hrs effectively.

Remember: It's better to cover 60-70% of the syllabus twice than to cover 100% once. You've got this! 💪

Note: This strategy is based on my personal experience and may vary for each individual. Find a strategy that works best for you and stick to it consistently 💪
