Here’s a tasty Salt and Pepper Shrimp with Jasmine Rice recipe using your ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup Jasmine rice
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1-2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic and herbs blend
- 2-3 tablespoons oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

For the Jasmine Rice:
1. Cook the Rice*:
- Rinse 1 cup of jasmine rice under cold water.
- In a pot, add 1 cup of jasmine rice and 1 1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and set aside.

For the Shrimp:
2. Prepare the Shrimp:
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning, Creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and corn starch until well-coated.

3. Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.

For the Spicy Veggies:
4. Sauté the Aromatic:
- In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add the minced garlic and sliced jalapeño pepper.
- Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add Crushed Red Pepper and Seasoning**:
- Stir in the crushed red pepper and garlic and herbs blend.
- Cook for an additional minute, then toss the shrimp back into the pan. Mix well to coat the shrimp with the spices and heat through.

Final Steps:
6. Finish the Dish:
- Stir in the chopped parsley and green onions, and cook for another 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Serve:
- Serve the crispy, flavorful shrimp over a bed of jasmine rice.
