San Fernando Mission Tour
It is actually called Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana and it was founded by Father Lasuen in September 1797.
The Indians did all of the jobs and work around the mission. There are 21 California missions from San Diego to Sonoma California. The missions were established so the Spanish could gain a foothold on the new world.

The mission stand with its adobe walls and historic chapel. The church has a wooden statue above the alter that was hand carved and is the patron saint Ferdinand III which was sent to the mission by the Spanish King in the 1700’s.
