“The Galápagos has influenced me in so many ways—from understanding my place on the planet to my relationship with the wildlife,” says Naturalist and Certified Photo Instructor Sócrates Tomalá. Growing up in the islands, Tomalá experienced the beauty of the archipelago firsthand while swimming in the biodiverse waters as a child and assisting visiting scientists as a teenager.
