Mendicancy is the right livelihood of a monk. So every Sunday morning, monks and nuns of Ba vang Pagoda practise mendicancy around the Pagoda so as to create opportunities for lay people to make merit. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Independence Day holiday, many people visited Ba Vang Pagoda and luckily had the chance to offer alms to monks.
