Vienna, AUSTRIA - 1979 World Figure Skating Championships, Ice Dancing, Free Dance - Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean of Great Britain placed 8th in the Free Dance to finish in 8th Place overall. They skated to the Broadway musical, "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue."
