Hi Everyone

So this Thursday the doctors gave us some Good News & Some Bad News! Late Thursday evening we got the ok to go home. The doctors felt that he was stable enough and recovering well to be at home with family. Until we get the rest of his results for his Diagnosis and treatment plan. So Far the Doctors believe it is a Rare Type of Leukaemia called JMML (Juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia). It is a rare childhood cancer. It happens when immature blood cells (called blasts) make too many myelocytes and monocytes (two types of white blood cells). These myelocytes, monocytes, and blasts crowd the normal cells in the bone marrow and other organs in the body, causing the symptoms of JMML. I will be making a separate video on how the doctors came to diagnosis Xavier with JMML, the symptoms he has experienced, and what the doctors believe is the best plan of treatment for Xavier.

There you will find the requirements and what you need to know to become a Donor. You may not be an exact match to Xavi but I appreciate those who are willing to donate for other kids and children in need. You can change your mind in the future if you decide you don’t want to be a Donor at any point.

Believe it or not, Donors of diverse backgrounds and ethnicity’s are needed right now! The majority is of Caucasian backgrounds and there is not enough diversity in Donors. So please if you are willing to become a Donor and donate, please don’t hesitate and start the process. It’ll be a process so please start that as soon as you can.
