We all have come across the quote, "Nature is the best teacher". I am so convinced about this!
Being in nature is the simplest way for children to have fun and learn too... It builds confidence, responsibility, promotes creativity, gives stimulation to think, learn, take up decisions and socialise too!

I feel every child must get exposed to natural surroundings and it is our responsibility. Any activity atleast once or twice in a month is refreshing for a child.

Especially these days, children spend so much time indoors attending online classes , connecting with their friends online and playing online games.

Recently, my teenage son and I went on a weekend trek to Kodachadri.

KODACHADRI hill is a Natural Heritage Site, in the famous Western Ghats . It offers spectacular views, glimpses of glorious sunrises and sunsets. The peak of Kodachadri with an altitude of 1343 m, can be reached by a five-hour trek. It's quite an adventurous trek with lot of challenges.
The name Kodachadri in Sanskrit means... "Jasmine of Hills".
