We were among the first travelers of the season to visit Limmen National Park in the Northern Territory. Having the park to ourselves added to the intrigue! Perhaps we arrived a bit too early in the season, as the area experienced significant flooding during the wet season. The road was damaged, with some serious sinkholes in parts, making for challenging driving. The water level was still high, and some of the river crossings were quite nerve-wracking.

However, the Lost City was spectacular, and Butterfly Falls was stunning! We finished our journey at Tomato Island camping ground, a paradise for barramundi hunters!
