The Hyundai Verna has been the longest-serving product in the brand’s portfolio. Of late, it has been struggling to rake in decent sales. To counter that Hyundai has been working on the new generation and today it has finally revealed the first teaser of the new Verna. It has also revealed some interesting new details about the car. Hyundai has opened bookings for the new Verna for Rs 25,000. Before we talk about the design, let’s talk about what’s new. Hyundai has stated the new Verna will come with Two engine options. This will include a new 1.5-litre TGDi engine paired with a 6-MT and 7-DCT gearbox. The second engine will be the 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine paired to a 6-MT and a CVT gearbox. Hyundai seems to have dropped the diesel engine on the new Verna. All the powertrain options are RDE-compliant and E20-ready. Colour options on the Verna will include three new colours – Abyss Black, Atlas White and Tellurian Brown
