The Browns were an American country and folk vocal trio, renowned for their 1959 Grammy-nominated hit "The Three Bells." Consisting of Jim Ed Brown and his sisters Maxine and Bonnie, they were known for their smooth harmonies that exemplified the Nashville sound while blending folk and pop elements. The group disbanded in 1967 and was later inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in March 2015.
