大津町で開催された地蔵祭りの様子です。
心配された夕立も降らずに、例年通り盛大に行われました。
メインストリートの旧国道は歩行者天国になって、子供連れのファミリーからご年配の方達まで大変楽しんでいらっしゃいました。

This is the Jizo Festival held in Otsu Town.
The feared sudden showers did not occur, and the festival was held with great pomp as usual.
The main street, the old national highway, was turned into a pedestrian precinct, with everyone from families with children to elderly people having a great time.
