Petřín Hill is a green area with an oasis of calm located in the centre of Prague which is the capital city of The Czech republic.
The Rose Garden, or rosarium, at the top of Petrin Hill, Nebozízek Garden and the Seminary Garden are particularly magical. A favourite destination for families with children and couples in love.
The easiest way to reach the top of the hill is with the funicular which is located at the foot of the hill. Petrín Lookout Tower is popular for its incredible panoramic views of the city and the mirror maze is an endless source of giggles. Walking paths crisscross the park and are lined with benches with great views.
The Hunger Wall is a medieval defensive wall of the Lesser Town of Prague, today's Czech Republic. It was built on Petřín Hill between 1360 and 1362 by order of Charles IV.
The Church of Saint Lawrence is also present at the top of the hill and is a very beautiful site.
The Church of Saint Lawrence in Prague is a church of the Old Catholic Church of the Czech Republic. It is located on Petřín hill, next to Petřín Lookout Tower and the Hunger Wall. It was originally a Romanesque church, later rebuilt in the Baroque style.
