Between 1899 and 1925, the Cleveland & Eastern Railway ran a 40-mile electric interurban line connecting downtown Cleveland and Geauga County. It has been nearly 100 years since the line was abandoned. Although it’s been mostly forgotten, people living near where the line was are discovering it and taking an interest in its history.
