As the murder trial of Dan Markel continues in Florida, Luis Rivera took the stand on Friday to testify. Rivera was the driver of the getaway car and one of three hitmen who were allegedly hired by Charlie Adelson in the 2014 homicide. Rivera took a plea deal in 2016 and is currently serving 19 years behind bars. As Adelson’s trial moves into week two, he faces up to life in prison if convicted.
