Ordsall Hall in Salford is a 15th Century manor house that was the seat of the Radclyffe Family for over 300 years.

Suggestions are that the infamous gunpowder plot of 1605 was planned out in the Hall.

After numerous uses in the 20th Century, including a radio station, the hall fell into dereliction, but was saved and opened to visitors since the 1970s.
