Many years ago 'H2' stood for 'Hobby Hybrid', or a lite version of a hobby box. Coming in at a fraction of the price of hobby, these boxes use to offer a taste of the full experience. But now it's 2023 and H2 means 2 Hits Per Box, and for around $400 these 2023 Panini Select H2 boxes are simply a no go when hobby can be had for $700.

Although it is possible to hit 1/1's and golds at a higher frequency out of these boxes, without a guaranteed auto, these cannot compete with the full experience with 2 autos, 1 mem and chances at XRC's coming out of Select Hobby.
