On board my very first Southwest Airlines flight from Los Angeles up to San Francisco just for a day out exploring San Fran while I was visiting LA. A very good flight, very good crew and lots of communication from the flight deck made for lots of happy passengers. After departure we were served a complimentary drink and a packet of nibbles. Something we don't get on European budget airlines, so I was impressed. The flight was full with every seat taken. Very quick engine start and taxi, no sooner had the push back vehicle moved away we were off taxiing to RWY24L. Great views down the coast towards Venice & Santa Monica beach and then up towards Santa Barbara. The entire flight was blessed with fairly clear skies and stunning views of the Californian coastline and countryside.
