It either takes a bad fall, or some maturity to realize that you need good riding pants. This video will help you with two things, 1. to convince you that riding pants are an important riding gear and not a luxury, 2. to choose the right riding pants.
As a beginner rider, I used to ride with the cheap knee guards and completed several long rides including Ladakh with them. But soon, I realized that these knee guards are just for self satisfaction, and not real protection. That's when I started learning about Riding pants, and why it's essential. With several visits to a nearby store, and research I chose my first riding pant, which was the most expensive gear I have acquired so far. Yes, it's more expensive than my helmet, and my riding jacket. I have shared my research and learning through this video, and hope you find it useful.
