In this episode I explain how to map the 7 possible triads of the major scale using modes.
There are 3 major triads (modes 1,4,5), 3 minor triads (modes 2,3,6) and one diminished triad (mode 7).
These triads are always directly associated with specific modes, and are always in the same place relative to the baseline major scale.

Knowing the major scale pattern on the fretboard allows you to play any of the 7 triads, anywhere on the fretboard.

Using all fourths tuning, you only need to know three chord shapes to play any triad, anywhere on the fretboard.
