An idea to follow for anyone looking to put shelves around the top of your garage. Drilling into the concrete block took the longest, but everything you see in the video can easily be changed around to fit whatever your needs are.... plywood instead of 1x6s, better brackets, drilling into studs, wood supports, etc.

A long project but great to get things up off the ground for more floor space to work.
