This transmission came to me partially disassembled. Lets explore how the single rail shifter works and then take the transmission apart for inspection. There will be two more videos later - one showing what and how to inspect and measuring tolerances, and then another on about assembling the transmission back together.
It also has a J-type overdrive, which will also be overhauled, but we are not going to film that part as we already have a J-type overhauling playlist on the channel. Link below.
