In this video, I'm going to teach you how to align your finderscope. A finderscope is an accessory that attaches to your telescope which helps you locate objects before observing them through the eyepiece. A finder scope provides a wider field of view than the main telescope.

Finding objects with a misaligned finderscope is quite challenging as you need to estimate the location of the object that is why it is necessary to align the finderscope in order to guide you in locating objects.
