Exploring the West Coast of Michigan makes for a unique adventure. This is the fourth video in our series as we explore Lake Michigan from the coast of Upper and Lower Michigan. Today we explore Charlevoix, known as the home of the architect Earl Young and his unique home designs. Some call them fairy houses, others gnome homes, but they are best known as Mushroom houses. This is a great free walking or driving activity as you uncover these unique creations. We will also take you to one of the top 10 castles in America - Castle Farms. Not only is this a wedding venue - but the beautiful buildings and grounds are available to tour. There is history, trains, and beautiful gardens around every corner. We will explore this beautiful town that sits on both Lake Michigan and the 3rd Largest lake in Michigan.
