Hi guys, I’m back with another video today’s video is going to be Lost Media Category # 86: The Adventures Of Thomas (Partially Found Production Material Of Cancelled "Thomas The Tank Engine" Live-Action Film; Early-Mid 2010s) and at the beginning of the video I just kind of go into a little bit of history of Thomas & Friends being on my YouTube channel I used to have a couple videos on my YouTube channels once was actually a rant video about Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go which that was back in the year of 2020 which that video eventually got taken down I don’t know the actual reason and I don’t remember why I took it down but I took that video down and there’s only one other video that is Thomas & Friends related and that was Dedication Video To Michael Angeles which that video also came out in 2020 and that is the only surviving Thomas & Friends video on my YouTube channel because other than that those are really the only two videos that I’ve ever made on my YouTube channel but in today’s video, I’m gonna be talking about some Thomas & Friends lost media this lost media specifically has been talked about a lot already on YouTube so this video is going to be really quick and short and really I don’t really talk about little kids shows and Thomas & Friends on my YouTube channel anymore but I thought about it and I wanted to do this lost media even though this lost media has been covered on YouTube a lot of different YouTuber anyway but anyway, let’s get into the actual lost media Thomas the Tank Engine is a British children franchise starring the fictional steam locomotive, Thomas, the series is based on The Railway Series of books with a TV series of the same name (later titled Thomas & Friends) that aired new episodes from October 9th, 1984 to January 20th, 2021 and a reboot that premiered later in 2021 Live-Action Film
In 2009 a live-action film based on the series titled The Adventures of Thomas was being developed by HiT Entertainment.[1] Set in London during the Second World War, the film was going to be directed by Shane Acker who wanted to broaden the series' appeal to an older audience. In a 2011 Deadline article, he describes the plot:"The tale will revolve around a pre-teen boy who has drifted apart from his father. The son is introduced into this world of Sodor, a place his father visited as a child but can’t remember. There is a bonding experience."The film was originally planned to be released in late 2010 but was pushed back to 2012, that same year HiT Entertainment was bought out by Mattel who ended up cancelling it soon after Status Since the film's cancellation, information on it is scarce with only a teaser trailer and some concept material resurfacing.
