Ingredients for gongura avakaya:-
Sorrel leaves 7 Bunches , There are 300g after washing and drying
Sorrel leaves 4 cups (300g)
Tamarind 1/2cup(115g)
Hot water to soak the tamarind
Red chilli powder 1/2cup(150g)
Salt 1/4cup(130g)
Ground nut oil 1cup
for frying sorrel leaves & Tamarind
Fenugreek seeds 2spn (25g)
Mustard seeds 4spn(45g)
For Tempering :-
1 cup of ground oil for 4 cups of sorrel leaves
The big garlic pie is two
Mustard seeds 2spn
Cumin seeds 2spn
Dry chilli
Curry leaves
