Miltiadis Tentoglou amassed his best ever series of jumps to win his third long jump title at the Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships. He leapt out to a championship record of 8.65m not once...but twice!
But Mattia Furlani also electrified his home crowd by winning silver at the age of 19 with a world U20 record and lifetime best of 8.38m!
